Mufaddal & Farida’s
Story…
How We Met...
17th January 2004
– First Email
Mufaddal and I met online through http://matrimonial.mumineen.org/ in
January 2004. I saw his profile which had a direct link to his personal
website, www.dopecoder.com
At this time Muffadal was living in New Zealand, Auckland and I was
living in UK, London.
I was admired by mufaddal’s pictures on his website, and the fact that
we both shared the same characteristics, encouraged me to email him and
discover more about him. My first email to him read,
“Hi there
my name is Farida. I read your profile on the matrimonial web page and
thought I would introduce myself. Please feel free to read my profile
and reply if you would like to chat.
p.s. I also viewed your web page and found it very interesting! :o)
Take Care :o)”
That same day I received a reply from him which read
“hi farida,
thanks for going through my profile and my website.
let me know how do I access your profile, and would also be gr8 if you
could
send me your pic.
have a nice day,
muffy”
This then triggered a whole ray of emails between me and Mufaddal, which
then elevated to live chats where we actually were able to see each on
the web camera.
We began to feel a bond that we both had never felt with anyone else
before. We would chat for ages every night about anything and everything
and I felt I could talk about anything to him.
Weeks and months past and Mufaddal and I were talking on a regular
basis. Mufaddal then made a decision that would change my life forever.
He made a reservation for a flight to the UK. I was very excited and
hoping that when we first met face to face that everything would fall
into place. It wasn't until the middle of June that we both realized
that we loved each other and we hadn’t even met yet!
