Story… 11th August 2004 - proposal |

| We decided that I would take Mufaddal to Oxford in the Afternoon to introduce him to my work colleagues. After the meeting I decided to take him to Manor Farm in Abingdon where we spent the whole of the Afternoon. In the evening we travelled up to Windsor Castle and spent the entire evening there. It was here that he asked me to marry him over a cup of hot chocolate sat outside on a bench overlooking the river just as sunset approached. I was feeling so excited and emotional at the same time. I accepted his proposal and we discussed how we would tell my parents. It was this day we first embraced. I can’t describe the feeling in words because it was like I’d died on gone to heaven. |
