Boards Emirates Flight. He phones Farida at home just before

and Farida see each other face to face for the first time by the
arrivals gate inside terminal 3.

Mufaddal
Proposes to Farida at Windsor Castle in which I accept his
proposal. Plans for the engagement have started and will take
place in London before Mufaddal leaves UK.

August 2004 |
Happiest
day of our lives is our engagement. A private function at home
with family members.

August 2004 |
Mufaddal
unfortunately gets back on the plane to New Zealand. He will
stop over in Dubai for two days to visit his sister.

I resign
from my work employment to prepare for my marriage in December.

September 2004 |
The
wedding date is confirmed and will take place on the 31st
December 2004. The Reception ceremony will be held on 3rd
January 05 in Mumbai, India.

Farida
purchases a one-way ticket for 25th Dec to India and Mufaddal
purchases a return ticket to New Zealand.

December 2004 |
Arrival
in Mumbai by flight QW200 at 0600 hrs. The Khilawala Family
members will be waiting to greet us at the airport. Meet and
transferred home. Rest and spend the day at leisure.

After
breakfast, go to register for Nikah (main wedding ceremony) to
Badri Mahal in the morning. In the evening shop for our wedding
clothes.

breakfast day at leisure doing shopping activities.

This day
shop till we drop!

After
breakfast morning at leisure. In the evening Katha Kutwa ni
ceremony, haldi pithi and sangeet at home.

Today I
applied Mehandi (Henna) on the hands. The nikah ceremony is
today!!!! In the evening there will be a function at Jamali
Hall. There will be Daris, Nikah, Gol Sharbat, Pehramnis and
Ring Ceremony. HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

weekend at Leisure and complete any last minute shopping for the
wedding reception.

Mufaddal

in Singapore en route for our honeymoon.
